Midland Citizens for Peace at the Midland Courthouse on Thursday, September 16 at 5:00pm - mourning the deaths of over 1000 U.S. soldiers in the senseless war in Iraq. They also remembered and mourned the deaths of 14,000 Iraqi civilians and the deaths of other Coalition soldiers. This was both a time to mourn and a time to protest the continuing war in Iraq.
